No.1 Lonsdale

No. 1 Lonsdale is a commercial project located at the foot of Lonsdale Avenue in North Vancouver. The project consists of a restaurant on the main floor and two floors of office space above. It is one of the first certified Passive House commercial projects in the country and the first such project to include a full commercial kitchen.

The building was built entirely using mass timber construction (a combination of glulam columns and beams with CLT panels) and pre-fabricated exterior wall panels. The use of a mass timber and pre- fabricated system allowed the structure for the entire building to be erected in only 10 days.
